Extended Dynamical Mean Field Theory and the model GW method
Ping Sun, Rutgers

For the purpose of handling the non-local Coulomb interaction required in the realistic electronic structure calculations, we combine the GW approximation (GWA) with the Extended Dynamical Mean Field Theory (E-DMFT). I will discuss the QMC implementation of E-DMFT with auxiliary phonons, the combination with GWA, and several applications, including the 1D and 3D U-V model.
