We thought it would be good to have a discussion of disorder that extended Daniel Bonamy's talk and brought in issues that will people interested in complexity study. I'll kick off the discussion with some definitions of types of disorder and some generic results that are found in many systems. There are also some unanswered questions that I think may be important to fracture, shear deformation and earthquakes. Hopefully other experts in disorder and complexity including Karin, Carmen and Daniel, will chime in.
Best, Mark
