New prospects in Rydberg molecules
Matt Eiles, Purdue & KITP

Recently we have explored Rydberg molecules involving more constituent particles than the original concept of a diatomic molecule of alkali atoms. Rydberg molecules can be formed from atoms with two active valence electrons as well as from a few (or many!) ground state atoms interacting with a single Rydberg atom.
