Mass and Redshift Evolution of ICM Non-Thermal Pressure
Douglas Rudd (Yale)

We develop on recent studies suggesting significant random gas motions in the ICM may be responsible for low thermal pressure measured through the Sunyaev-Zeldovich effect. Using a large sample of groups and clusters simulated using the hydrodynamic ART code we probe the mass and redshift dependence of these residual gas motions and their connection with cluster assembly history.
