Global Modeling of Cloud Formation and Supernovae Driven Feedback in Disk Galaxies

We present global hydrodynamic simulations of the formation and destruction of giant clouds through supernovae driven feedback in galaxy disks. We investigate the role of supernovae in driving turbulence. We also discuss how star formation rates depend on feedback properties, and assess the feasibility of sustaining long lasting spiral structure in disks with feedback.
