Holographic complexity of domain wall spacetimes
Zhencheng Wang, Mentors Donald Marolf and Zicao Fu (Physics)

Leonard Susskind and other physicists have proposed two conjectures about the holographic complexity. They are the "complexity equals volume" conjecture and the "complexity equals action" conjecture. These two conjectures have passed many tests together. We use domain walls to construct bulk spacetimes which have two different cosmological constants at different sides of the domain wall and we calculate the holographic complexity of such spacetimes. Since the volume and the action have different sensitivity to the cosmological constant, the two conjectures of holographic complexity may get distinguished in such spacetimes.
