Can We Find Faint Dwarfs in Other Groups?
James Taylor (Univ. of Waterloo), Ryan Speller (Univ. of Waterloo)

To understand what the first generations of galaxies might have looked like and how galaxies trace dark matter on small scales, we can study faint galaxies in the nearby universe. Unfortunately, the faintest galaxies have only been detected in the very, very nearby universe, namely within the halos of the Milky Way and M31. Here we consider the prospects for extending our sample of faint dwarfs to other nearby galaxies and other groups beyond the Local Group.
