Experiments in Rotating, Spinning, and Shocked BECs
Eric Cornell (NIST/JILA - University of Colorado)

I will discuss the most recent developments in JILA's experiment on rapidly rotating Rb-87 BEC. We observe that the vortex lattice "constant" is actually very slightly variable, which has qualitative consequences for the overall density profile. I'll provide a summary of JILA's finite-T spinor bose gas work. Finally, we'll see some pictures of sub-, trans-, and hyper-sonic superfluid dynamics.
