Zeroth Law of Turbulence
Dr. Gregory Eyink, ITP & University Arizona
This lecture, on the "Zeroth law of turbulence," is
pedagogical in nature, and is meant to enhance our awareness of connections between
turbulence theory and aspects of field theory. It starts with experimental
observables, and stresses the theoretical connections between conservation-law
anomalies in turbulence and anomalies in quantum field theory.
