Entanglement Entropy Across the P-wave BCS-BEC Transition

We have numerically evaluated the entanglement entropy of spinless fermions in two-dimensions with p-wave superfluid pairing interactions that break parity but not time-reversal. The entropy obeys an "area" law in both the gapped Bose-Einstein condensate regime and the gapless BCS regime. At the transition, we observe a universal additive correction that grows as the square root of the block size.
