Superconductivity in magnetic doped oxide material Mentors Susanne Stemmer and Luca Galletti (MRL)
Yuntian Li

The superconducting nature of SrTiO3 is interesting because it cannot be explained by conventional theory of superconductor. Bulk SrTiO3 is know as an insulator. Previous studies, however, show that SrTiO3 doped with La, Nb and oxygen vacancies becomes a metal and undergoes superconducting transition below 1K. Here I will present our recent study of magnetic doped SrTiO3. Possible mechanism of this new superconductor will be discussed.
